What Started In Riverton, Continues To Grow
In 1986 our founder, Art Woolston, saw an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others by providing safe housing and meaningful supports to people in need. His passion and foresight quickly grew into an opportunity to support individuals with disabilities to be able to live self-determined lives in more natural settings within the community.
Our journey started with two beautiful side-by-side homes in Riverton, Utah and soon thereafter opportunities to provide a much richer and broader scope of services, such as supervised apartments, supported living and day training services, came our way. Today, our network of residential services and day programs span a dozen markets in four western states. We are grateful for the opportunity we have to serve nearly 300 people in our programs and employ more than 1200 dedicated, passionate people in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and Oregon.
Many of the people we support endured long stays in state-operated facilities before they arrived in our care. Today we are honored to offer them the utmost dignity and respect while providing them with loving homes that are integrated into safe neighborhoods.
